Phil Rennick
Principal Lawyer
Phil Rennick has lived and worked in Townsville for over 25 years and has over 28 years involvement with the law. His qualifications include Bachelor of Laws, Former Barrister of the High Court of Australia, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of QLD and Solicitor of the High Court of Australia. Phil is and has been for over 10 years involved in Queensland University of Technology ‘s mentor program in two areas, Justice and Law. He also worked on developing legislation before it was introduced to Parliament and worked on legal issues relating to the high coverage extradition of Jayent Patel from the US.
Phil has extensive experience in Criminal and Family Law and can apply his experiences and knowledge to any legal problems. He possesses a broad range of experience representing clients in the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He ensures that complex legal problems are explained in easy to understand terms to all our clients.
His down to earth manner, and incredibly persuasive advocacy skills are widely recognised and respected by Judges and Magistrates.He has dealt with a wide range of Commonwealth and Queensland offences including murder/manslaughter, drug trafficking, robbery, arson, serious assaults, sexual offences, dishonesty offences and traffic matters.
He represents clients in Crime and Corruption Commission hearings and Supreme Court Bail Applications. Phil appears daily at summary hearings, contested bail applications, trials and sentences in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts all across Queensland and on all criminal matters.

Michelle Rennick
Office Manager
Michelle Rennick is our Practice Manager and was born and raised in Townsville. Michelle has extensive background in retail and management of over 20 years. Michelle is client focused and maintains the high standards of client care that Rennick Lawyers demands for their clients. Michelle works closely with our legal team and ensures the smooth day to day running of our law firm.
Michelle is also a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and therefore has a basic understanding of legal practices and is available to witness documents. She is an integral member of the operations of Rennick Lawyers and has great empathy for all our clients and is sensitive to their legal issues.

Thomas Proctor
Lawyer
Thomas grew up in Hervey Bay before moving to Townsville where he graduated from Ignatius Park College in 2015. He holds dual degrees from James Cook University, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology.
Thomas works alongside his Principal Lawyer in the daily preparation of the firm’s legal matters and provides legal advice and assistance in the areas of Criminal, Family, Traffic and Estate law. Thomas understands the importance of providing quality assistance to clients in resolving their matters and obtaining the best possible results.

Rebecca Moore
Personal Assistant to Phil Rennick and Office Administrator
Rebecca was born and raised in Townsville. She then relocated to Brisbane where she lived there for 10 years before moving back to her hometown. Rebecca has worked as an Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to Phil Rennick for over eight years. With high energy and meticulous attention to detail, Rebecca provides confidential and quality support to the team and her Principal Lawyer.
Rebecca comes from a real estate background, where she worked as a Senior Property Manager in Brisbane for almost six years. Rebecca assists with conveyancing, Supreme Court bail applications, criminal law matters and general administrative duties. With her customer service background, Rebecca enjoys engaging with the diverse range of clients who contact the firm on a daily basis and will happily assist you with any enquiries you may have.

Clancee Hucker
Administration Assistant
Clancee relocated to Townsville from Western Australia, with her family at the age of 5. It was here that she has spent most of her childhood, and in time graduated at Ryan Catholic College. As one of the main points of contact between you and our solicitors, Clancee is always working hard to ensure she is understanding, and keeping you up to date with your matters. Not only does Clancee provide constant compassion to our clients, she also ensures she is providing the Rennick Lawyers team with daily support. As a brilliant multitasker and highly efficient member of our staff, she tends to most of the firms administrative and secretarial tasks. She prides herself on her attention to detail and organisation skills.

Madeleine Bryer
Receptionist and Accounts
Madeleine was born and raised in the small country town, Charters Towers. She was school captain in both primary and high school, and in her free time you would find her at the local dance studio teaching the little ones.
Madeleine is always happy to assist our clients in the best way she can with any questions they may have.
